Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 22, 2026
Welcome to DeepOcean, developed and operated by DeepOcean Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, and protect your information when you use our applications on Windows, Android, and iOS. By downloading or using DeepOcean, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name: To personalize your workspace and identify you within your organization.
- Email Address: Used for authentication, password recovery, and important service communications.
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, government IDs, or precise biometric data.
2. Device Permissions
Certain modules within DeepOcean may request device permissions to deliver their functionality. These permissions are always optional and are only requested when you activate a module that requires them. Examples include:
- Camera: Used by modules such as product scanning (Inventory) or video communication (Meet module).
- Microphone: Used by communication modules (e.g., Meet) for voice and video calls.
These permissions are requested at runtime. You may deny or revoke them at any time through your device settings. Denying a permission only restricts the specific module feature that requires it.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Authenticate your identity and provide access to your workspace.
- Synchronize your business data securely across your devices.
- Send transactional communications such as password resets and security alerts.
- Improve the stability and performance of the platform.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any form of behavioral tracking.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in two complementary ways:
- Locally (On-Device): Core business data is stored on your device so the application functions fully offline without an internet connection.
- Cloud (DeepOcean Servers): Data is securely synchronized to our proprietary servers when an internet connection is available. All data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS encryption, and data at rest is protected using AES-256 encryption.
Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel within DeepOcean Inc. and is never shared with or sold to third parties.
5. Third-Party Services
DeepOcean does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. Our entire infrastructure is proprietary. We do not integrate with Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar external services.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Upon request, your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. To submit a deletion request, please contact us at the email address below.
7. Children's Privacy
DeepOcean is a business operations platform intended for use by adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any significant changes via email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
